Description:
This Finishing Press is perfect for clamping loose pages to create a glued spine for a ‘perfect bind’ creating rip off jotter pads becomes so easy when you can clamp all papers neatly in place. This press is also used to press stitched text blocks before glueing as well as the opening edges for fore edge painting and gilding. We have included plastic liners to protect the inside of the pressing boards and suggest using scrap paper or non-stick paper when using the press to stop any glue coating the board edges.
Components are loose but only minimal construction is needed; you may want to add glue to secure the plastic liners.
Overall size is 29x8cm and will hold up to A5 pages or A4 on the short edge.
