Description:
Following on from Janie’s research at Exeter Cathedral Library Archives, Janie has created this kit to enable you to make a fold out hard covered journal (Lapbook) filled with printed paper ephemera to create a medieval explorers ledger. This Lapbook has a plain Calico fabric cover that needs aging with inks or image transfers to create a well-travelled and weathered effect. A glass bottle sits within the front cover to add a feather to and once opened the book will open out to cover your lap and reveal a fun interactive project that you can keep adding to.
